NIA’s operation midnight against PFI is over. This operation of NIA started last night. A very Strongly prepared operation .  NSA  Ajit Doval planned mega crackdown on PFI terror links .For this, 6 control rooms were made. The Ministry of Home Affairs was also monitoring this entire operation.  There was a big meeting in Mantralaya 3 days back. It was attended by officials of NIA, ED and IB.

New Delhi: Several agencies led by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted simultaneous raids in 11 states. These raids were done regarding terror funding of PFI . 106 members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) involved in this were arrested. Special preparations were made to carry out this operation. This investigation operation was named Operation Midnight. The NIA has termed it as the “biggest investigation operation ever”. NIA’s Operation Midnight against Popular Front of India (PFI) is now over. All the teams of National Investigation Agency (NIA) have returned.

Last night the NIA operation started around 1 pm. For this operation, 6 control rooms were made. Later, senior officers of NIA were added from here and from other states. Home Minister Amit Shah was monitoring this entire matter. Sources said that a big meeting was held in the Ministry of Home Affairs 3 days ago with the officials of NIA, ED and IB. After this the whole operation was carried out in a very secret manner. The operation was carried out at night so that the people associated with PFI could not create a ruckus.
A strong team was prepared for quick raids,
200 NIA personnel were involved in Operation Midnight. There were 4 IGs, 1 ADG and 16 SPs. In this, the state police and CAPF were also made a part. 1000 of their personnel were part of this operation. The command center was built in the Ministry of Home Affairs. More than 200 PFI members were under suspicion. The respective teams were given full details of these. The team has also seized more than 150 mobile phones, more than 50 laptops besides sensitive documents. These documents include vision document, enrollment form, bank details.
