ODISHA TRAIN TRAGEDY ..CBI ENQUIRY IS THE BEST SUITED MEASURE .
At least 288 people were killed and more than 1,000 were left injured in a horrific major train accident , involving Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, and a goods train in Odisha’s Balasore district on June 2. 2023,
At about 7 PM the Coromandel Express was supposed to go straight on the up >> main line but was wrongly switched to the parallel up loop line at full speed, where it collided with a stationary goods train laden with iron ore. Because of the high impact of speed, 21 coaches of the Coromandal express train were derailed .The goods train did not derail or move at all .
Three of the derailed coaches from the Coromandel Express careened into the adjacent track and fallen into the tail end of the Bengaluru–Howrah Express crossing the station at the same time. Two unreserved coaches and the brake van of the Bengaluru–Howrah Express at its back were derailed. The remainder of the train, which included the engine and 20 coaches, left with its passengers and continued to Balasore, for the train’s destination to Howrah. The train accident is being investigated by the CBI .In the mean while news spreads that a prime suspect of the Train Tragedy ..a Junior engr Amir khan from railway signals now seems missing from the occurance of the train tragedy along with his family ..News desk kaladwani news.
